Vilhelm Henry Lundstrøm, born in Copenhagen, Denmark, received his education at the Royal Danish Academy of Art, studying under Rostrup Böyesen. He made his debut in 1918 at the Artists' Autumn Exhibition at Den Frie Udstilling in Copenhagen and also showcased his work in the exhibition Modern Art at the Art Pavilion in Aarhus.
